Michael Taylor

Founder

Giving SMEs the structure, strategy, and support to grow

I cut my teeth as a management accountant for various small businesses across hospitality, recruitment, and other service sectors. That hands-on experience eventually led to a couple of C-suite roles in a global aviation group of companies. Over the years, I’ve developed a specialism in building cohesive operational ecosystems; plug-and-play setups that give businesses everything they need to scale, while allowing founders and owners to stay focused on delivering a great product.

What I do at Ysobelle Edwards
I work closely with founders and owners to help them step back, see the bigger picture, and focus on where they’re trying to go. My role is to make sure they have the operational and managerial support from Ysobelle Edwards that they need to get there without getting pulled into the detail.

Why I get up in the morning

  • I genuinely enjoy working with small businesses and helping them push forward on their journey

  • I’m lucky to have a wonderful wife and two teenagers

  • I run ultramarathons when time and knees allow

  • I’ve spent most of my life waiting for Tottenham Hotspur to dominate Europe, and I expect that wait to continue

Anj Gabyon

Creative Lead

Making sure our clients’ content looks good.

I handle the visual side of client work at Ysobelle Edwards. That includes logo design, brand assets, marketing graphics, slide decks, and visual content for campaigns. My job is to make sure everything we produce looks professional, supports the message, and is easy for clients to use across channels.

I often work with our consultants and writers to turn ideas into practical design outputs; whether that’s a refreshed logo, a launch graphic, or a presentation template that needs to be client-ready by the end of the day.

Outside of work, I’m a fur parent to six dogs and a lifelong animal lover. I visit zoos whenever I travel, and I’m happiest when I’m near the ocean, up in the mountains, or exploring somewhere new with a camera in hand. I’ve been dancing since I was in kindergarten, and I’ve always gravitated toward hands-on, creative hobbies, baking (which turned into a small business), tattooing, and trying out new crafts whenever I get the chance.

When I’m not designing, I’m probably swimming, playing badminton, watching thriller or fantasy series, or planning my next outdoor adventure. I’ve got a soft spot for candid photos and quiet nature shots, and one day, I’d love to build a camera collection. As for bucket list items: skydiving’s at the top.

Louise Paxton

Operations Manager

Keeping the moving parts aligned so the team can deliver at its best

I look after the day-to-day operations at Ysobelle Edwards, making sure projects and processes run as smoothly as possible. My focus is on creating structure, keeping things organised, and giving the team the space to deliver their best work.

I’d describe myself as someone who brings steadiness and energy to the background side of the business. I enjoy the challenge of keeping lots of moving parts aligned, and I find real satisfaction in the details that help everything click into place.

Outside of work, life is just as busy; I’m usually walking my three dogs, keeping active at the gym, or running my teenagers between commitments. For me, staying organised at home and at work is less about perfection and more about balance, adaptability, and keeping things moving forward.

Lindsey Lloyd

Human Resources Lead

Helping clients manage and nurture their most important resource

I’ve spent most of my career in HR, originally in secondary education, where I learned how to navigate compliance-led environments, tight timelines, and real-world people challenges. At Ysobelle Edwards I work with our clients to get the HR basics right; contracts, handbooks, policies, as well as helping them implement processes that keeps their people happy, motivated and developed.

I’m a Harrison Assessments champion, so I also support clients with hiring and development through behaviour-based insights that go beyond a CV.

Outside of work, I’ve got three grown-up kids, a weakness for rubbish TV, and a standing date night with my husband that we try to stick to.
